Privacy & Security

Your email privacy is protected:

  • OAuth 2.0 - We never see or store your password
  • Read-only - We don't modify or delete your emails
  • Attachments only - Email content is processed but not stored
  • Encrypted - All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Revocable - Disconnect at any time from Settings

Each connected Gmail or Outlook account counts toward your email sources limit.

Filtering Options

By Sender

Only capture emails from specific addresses:

*@investmentfirm.com
reports@mybank.com
statements@custodian.co.uk

Use wildcards (*) to match entire domains.

By Label (Gmail)

Sync only emails with specific Gmail labels:

Investments
Finance/Reports
Important

By Folder (Outlook)

Sync only emails from specific folders:

Inbox/Investments
Archive/Financial

Attachments Only

Enable to skip emails without attachments.

Apple Mail Drop Support

oklido supports Apple Mail Drop links for large attachments:

  • Automatically detects Mail Drop links in emails
  • Downloads files from iCloud
  • Processes attachments up to 5GB

Troubleshooting

Emails Not Appearing?

  1. Check your connection in Settings → Email Sources
  2. Verify your filters aren't too restrictive
  3. Allow time for sync (especially on Free plan)
  4. Check if the email has supported attachments

Duplicate Documents?

  • oklido deduplicates based on file hash
  • Same file from different emails = one document
  • Edit notification preferences in Settings

Connection Errors?

  1. Try disconnecting and reconnecting
  2. Clear browser cookies and try again
  3. Check Google/Microsoft account permissions
  4. Contact support if issues persist
